Boy the Elf

I caved and got the kids an Elf on the Shelf! I was super excited after reading about what everyone was having their elf get into - especially on Pinterest!! SOO... he made his first appearance this morning!

S was floored when she came out and found that an elf had brought her a "North Pole Breakfast"!! He wrote the kids a letter about himself and even brought them little sock gifts because you must keep your feet warm at the North Pole! We ate a lot of sweets, drank hot chocolate and I read her the story of her new little elf friend. She was hesitant at first and would not name him and was scared to go look for him. But, after a bit of convincing that he was a nice elf, she named him "Boy" and went searching. C was the one to actually find him hanging out in the Christmas tree!

C doesn't understand anything about this elf so Boy has to make sure that he stays way out of his reach so he won't loose his magic and S have a complete meltdown that she won't be getting presents from Santa this year!
