Putt-Putt and Ice Cream

We met the Sinclairs downtown for putt-putt and ice cream.  These kids have known each other for seven years and we still try to get together every month or two!  Boys will be boys and girls will be girls!  LOL!

April 2018

My lavender has been thriving since last year - hope I didn't just
jinx myself!
I watched Adyson one night while her parents went out - we
made cookies!
Sunny day afternoon!
I had to work Goodies for Grown Ups and M wasn't able to be
there, so I snuck away for a few minutes to take my kids to the
book fair - don't worry, they got 2 donuts each while I worked!:)
First trip to Dillard's!
School Dance
Making sling shots
C's class took a field trip to Peace Center.  I did not go, but his teacher posted this picture!
He is hiding - can you find him?!?!

Lunch with my friends from work:)

Spring pictures - that I didn't keep;)

I got a couple of bouquets for Admin Prof Day at work:)

1. The freckles are from school bc they just finished
reading Freckle Juick
2. He had a friend over and they played Beanboozled - yuck!

Just a boy staring at a candle.. what is it about boys and fire!?!?!

Last Soccer Game of the Season

This morning was C's last soccer game for the season!  This season he has done amazing and has really been a leader on the team and scored lots of goals.  But, this team was more of a Bad News Bears type of team so they ended the season 2 - 5- 1!  We were kinda ready for this season to be over and be put out of our misery(lol!), but are looking forward to another season in the fall!

Family Pictures 2018

Even after a late night last night in Dollywood, I had been a little out of my mind and scheduled our family pictures for this morning before soccer!

We used a new-to-us photographer who came highly recommended and I think she did a fantastic job!

I love having these done each year and watching how the kids grow and change!

4th Grade Dollywood Trip

Today has been fun, exciting, long and exhausting all at the same time!

S and I went to Dollywood with the 4th grade!  We rode rollercoasters(S still is not a fan!), ate lots of expensive food(lol!), spent most of our time in the fair/carnival section and were blessed to be hanging out with girls and moms that I really enjoy!

After our feet were sore beyond sore, it was time to load up and go to The Stampede where we enjoyed dinner and a show!

It was a great day!!!  But I am glad to be home:)

Our first ride of the day!

I was concerned that there would be problems with an odd
number of girls in our core little group, but these three were
so sweet and kind the entire day together!

This was the end of the day for us and we were both worn out!
Our friends were taking a final turn on the Lightening Rod, but
we chose Dip N Dots instead:)

Chorus Concert and Art Contest

This evening S got to show off some of her talents - music, dance and art!  Her first chorus concert was first up.  They did an international, eclectic showcase featuring songs, and dances where S was one of the dancers, from different parts of the world.  The whole group did such an amazing job and I am so proud of all the hard work and time that has gone into practicing for both the singing and dancing portions of the program.

Following the concert, the PTA hosted an art competition and expedition in the gym. S entered a visual arts piece and although she didn't win, since I'm on PTA I saw the scores and she would have placed 3rd overall!  I was glad to see that even though she didn't win, she was congratulatory of those that did and enjoyed observing the other entries throughout the "gallery"!

Such a well-done and inspiring night at our school!
