La S'mores

We invited all the 8th grade girls from MRCA(total of about 25, and 15 were able to come) for a lasagna dinner, s'mores and bible study!  It was a loud event but they had a blast!  I'm glad we were able to host them!

We got our tree yesterday and got it decorated(in our Christmas jammies...woohoo!) tonight while watching Home Along(per the shirts!)!  It is a big fatty tree!

Thanksgiving

Because COVID is still around, it was decided that we would do Thanksgiving again in Atlanta.  It was still fun with lots of laughing and hanging out with family!  And the drive is much easier ON Thanksgiving to Atlanta than on the Wednesday before to Raleigh!

Last Soccer Tournament 2021

It wasn't the results that the boys wanted, but they played a hard last tournament and had some really great moments!

TFBC Retreat

The kids both went on the church retreat to Asbury Hills this weekend!  This was C's first overnight retreat and our first night without kids in over FOURTEEN years!!  They both had a lot of fun and luckily their leaders took pictures that the kids were in a few of over the weekend!

 

Kid Free Weekend - NC

While the kids were both gone, we took full advantage!

Friday night, we went to Sierra Nevada for dinner.  On Sunday we went to Highlands, did some hiking and ended with dinner in Brevard!  The leaves were so pretty this weekend too!

It was a North Carolina weekend for us!
