Lazy, or Not so Lazy, July:)

I loved this because it was all swim team kids, ages 5-18,
playing so nicely all together!  Everyone included!
I was so super impressed!!

Pictures from a friend of S at a birthday party!  Looks like
she was loving it!

We spent quite a while watching TV this morning!  Some days
you just gotta chill!
Still pluggin' along with our summer school work... it's
becoming more of a fight now, though!

M looked like he was with the Hazmat division as he mowed
the grass!  Buhahaha!!

Back to RMSC to see the butterflies, and...

the aquatic touch tanks.

We skipped the farm this day because it was a balmy 94*,
but we did check out the "new" treehouses on the way back
to the car that we didn't get a chance to see last time!

Pepsi gives out party packs the month your kid turns 6!  I
didn't know about this with S, but C was certainly glad that
I know now!  It comes with 12 Pepsis, 8 ice cream cups, tons of
balloons and pencils and tatoos, 4 passes to the zoo, 4 passes to
the Upcountry History Museum and 4 tickets to a Drive baseball
game!  It was fun for him to open!!
The little guy has been doing LOTS of this lately!  Too many
late summer nights for him!

What was suppose to be a 24 hour rental car, turned into a
week rental! UGH!  This is while my rear bumper was getting fixed
from when the guy backed into me in the swimming pool parking lot!

The kids were surprised with treats after practice one
morning during divisionals week!

Zoom in on her style!!:)

The radio was BLARING!! And he was fast asleep!!

We hit the library up!

I dropped my phone and it busted the face so I had to figure out
how I wanted to go about remedying my little situation!  No
better time to let the kids play iPads to their hearts content at the Verizon store!
Then we left here and they had to wait 2.5 hours with me during my
hair appointment!  They did really well, but we were all ready
to get home!

One afternoon we cashed in on several local bookstore reading programs and
scored lots of NEW BOOKS!!!  We still have to finish the library's program and
their school program, though!

The night before the Divisionals swim meet was the
Pasta Pump Up!  LOTS of food and crazy kids!!

5.22in rain in ONE DAY!

All that rain helped our crepe myrtle to bloom for the first time:)

C and I joined S as she hosted us at her "restaurant"

S had swim practice several nights for Championships and
C swam around and was a general crazy kid!

Afternoon reading

Light Saber wars and leotards!  Well rounded!
C tried out a karate class

S going off the block at the swim practice for Championships
at West Side Aquatic Center

Dunkin' Donuts date with C

Summer homework while getting my oil changed!

Post ballet big hair and makeup:)

A day of picking in the garden!
Claiming the library reading rewards
The watermelons in our garden are getting so big!  We were hoping
it was ready to eat - it wasn't ready yet:(  Disappointing!

Always so much fun to run errands with these two!

C had his 6 year old check up and everything was just perfect!
Pretty sure this is where he picked up strep throat:(
S attended a drop in summer ballet class at her old studio!

Lost a tooth:)  And she even pulled it out by herself...what!?!?!
We love our neighbors:)

Snap Chat

While we were at Beni Hana's, Jennifer introduced the kids(and me and Gigi) to Snap Chat!  It was a hit and I've heard all about it and wanting to play it since then!  Here's what I found on my phone and what Jennifer sent me!  They had a ball!!

Summer Atlanta Trip

We are just back from our summer trip to Atlanta.  We left on Tuesday after lunch and got back this afternoon!  It was a quick visit, but we managed to squeeze in a lot of fun while we were there!

When we arrived, the kids were restless from being in the car, so
I took them down to throw rocks in the creek!
It was nice to enjoy lazy mornings at Grandpa and Gigi's!

C spent a LOT of time in the basement playing pool and fussball
and making up some of his own games as well!

Grandpa took the kids fishing one morning - they caught a
HUGE turtle!!

Gigi took the kids back to school clothes shopping!  C enjoyed it
for a bit, but then we found Star Wars playing in the electronics
department and ate peanut butter crackers while Gigi and S
finished up!;)

The kids and their loot!  THANKS, GIGI!

S working on Gigi's sewing machine!

C still in the basement - he found some of Uncle Bobby's
toys stored away!

We met Uncle Bobby and Aunt Jennifer at Beni Hana for
dinner:)

And we ended the trip with a stop at MD360 for a sick little
boy - strep throat and an ear infection.  He was miserable!
