Divisionals Swim Meet and Team Party

This morning we had early alarm clocks going off in our house at 5am!!  On a Saturday!  For a swim meet!  Oh boy!!!

But, we were all excited and got the pool and there were probably 100(might be an exaggeration, but it was a lot nonetheless!) tents set up for all the teams!  All the teams paraded around the pool, said the National Anthem, PRAYED!!, and they set up for the meet!

S did both relays, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly.  C did short freestyle, long freestyle and backstroke.  Both had GREAT meets, with great times(all personal bests for C!!  Woohoo!) and a fun time doing it!  And, the icing on the cake, the Barracudas winning the green division meet!!  

I went back to see how much they've both improved this year!  Check it out:

25m freestyle(Best last year 29.18sec, Best this year 23.81sec)

50m freestyle(Best last year 1:20.88, Best this year 1:01.72) 

25m breaststroke(Best last year 44.78, Best this year 32.88)

25m backstroke(Best last year 32.65, Best this year 28.65)

25m butterfly(She couldn't even do this stroke last year! Her time this year 33.43)

I'm so so so proud of both of them and all the hard work they've put into practicing and competing this year!

After an 8 hour meet, our family was 100% exhausted!!!  3 of us came home and took quick naps(S is not a napper!) and then went to the end of the year party hosted by a very gracious member of our team!  The kids swam(even after they'd all been in the pool all day, they still wanted more!!) and played with all the fun toys at this amazing house(!!!!) and ate from a huge, delicious spread of food! 

Great season Barraducas!  Can't wait for next year!
