We took the kids and their friends snow tubing today! We had originally planned to go a lot closer, but it was booked for the afternoon, so we ended up driving to Zip N Slip in Mars Hill, NC. There was still a wait, so we went for dinner and came back at our appointed time! It was getting dark and was sooo cold so the hill turned to ice and it was FAST!! The kids thought it was great fun, but I was a nervous wreck that someone was going to get hurt! Thankfully, nobody did and we all came home with great stories!
Ss school was out on break today(C's was not) and Gigi came to visit so we made a girls' afternoon of it! We had a delicious lunch at Brick Street Cafe and then walked around downtown and showed Gigi the new Bohemian Hotel.
We spent New Years Day hiking at Keowee Toxaway State Park and enjoying a quiet afternoon at the lake!
