Out Like A Lamb!!!

We had a play date at PlayNation with Max and Mya!! The kids love each other and always have a blast at our monthly get togethers!!

This is what Thursday and Friday afternoons are like at our house!

But, Thursdays are soccer days so they didn't get too long to veg before heading to S's practice!!
C was able to practice with the big kids before official practice
started - but not really sure what he was doing out there!!  Stare-down
with the soccer ball !  HAHA!!

A little reading with Daddy!
Saturday was a rainy, yucky morning, but S still had a soccer game!
I was trying to get an action shot, but it turned into a
silly shot!  She loves to ham it up for the camera, even in the
middle of a game!

C couldn't have been happier about playing the in the rain
during the game!  He used that stick to "chop down" that
bush!  Then made forts up on the hill!  Little boys paradise!!

S wasn't as happy about being in the rain and mud, but these
girls were troopers and played a great game!
After soccer, it was C's turn for his activity, so off we went to Gymnastics!!
S set up her teacher desk in the waiting area:)

C did an awesome job listening and participating!!  I'm not sure
if it was because this was a small class(only 7 kiddos) or the fact
that Daddy was there watching!  It was so fun to watch
him!!

I'm hoping to be enlightened!!!!!!!

Love them!

What a beautiful site!!  We were eating dinner at Earth Fare and one of the
ladies working there ran in and got us to come and look!  It was one of the
most beautiful rainbows ever!!

It was VERY VERY windy this past weekend!  Look at our
neighbor's trampoline!!
C had a birthday party to attend - one of the few that he has been to without S being invited also!
Batman!

Now he is Spiderman!!  With the birthday boy, Ridge, as
Batman!
M has started sanding/painting our current house so that we can
sell it!
I saw on Facebook that a Smithsonian travelling exhibit, Animal Connections - Our Journey Together, was going to be set up in front of the zoo.  It is an exhibit that helps to teach children(and adults) about animal health.  I thought it would be great to visit the exhibit and then the zoo for a fun morning with C!  He lasted all of 5 minutes at the exhibit before he was done!  HAHA!!  S would have loved it and stayed there for hours I think!  They are so different!  Off to the zoo we went!  After flying through the zoo, focusing mainly on the reptile house(which I despise!!!!!) and the goats, we ate a picnic at Cleveland Park and C played on the playground!!!  Note to self - a playground is all this boy needs to be entertained, forget the exhibits and the zoo!!  It was fun to spend time with him and let him call all the shots throughout the morning!

I also need to make a note for the record, this is the first time I've gone to the zoo with nothing but my purse!!  No snacks, strollers, diapers, wipes, etc!!!  WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A quick snapshot of our 5 minutes in the exhibit!;)

"Mommy, take my picture with the iguana!"

My favorite little dude!

Picnic time!!
It was a 72* day and perfect for the last day of March - OUT LIKE A LAMB!!:)

Build A Bear, Airplanes and Egg Hunts

All in a day's work!!:)

Neither of the kids have ever been to Build A Bear and C was so so so excited when he figured out what it was!  I had a gift card and a coupon and Gigi was in town, so it seemed like the perfect time to go!  I am so glad we did:)
Rubbing the heart for his monkey on his head to help
make the monkey smart!

He loved giving his new friend a bath!!

He was so proud of the fireman outfit he picked out for his
monkey, Chief!

He pushed chief through the mall in his stroller!

Nothing like riding a pink dog in front of a bunch of bras and
panties!!  HAHA!
We had lunch at Airport Cafe and played on the playground for a bit before going to pick S up from school!  This little boy was spoiled with undivided attention all morning!:)
Watching the planes take off:)

S went to dance after school(and Gigi was able to go watch so they were both very happy!!).  When we got home, the kids had a fun surprise waiting for them!

Thanks, Davis and Liza!!

This kid was all about the candy!!

It got a bit cold outside, but never fear, they brought the egg
hunt inside!!

Riverbanks Zoo

After dropping S off at school, C and I traveled to Columbia's Riverbanks Zoo to meet up with Amy and Cayden!

It was so so so good to see them!!  We miss them!!

We started off with the birds, thinking they would be more active and interested in our bird nectar/food if we went first thing in the morning!  Well, it worked, TOO WELL!!!  As soon as we walked in I was "attacked" by about 4 hungry birds(luckily I was holding the food, not C!) and had to have Amy help me get them off because I was freaking out, but she was dealing with one of her own birds climbing up her back!  AHHHH!!  Needless to say, we left as quickly as possible, with two very upset and crying little boys!

We next went and rode the ponies and train and fed the giraffes!  They were much better with all the fun distractions!  We had a great time as we saw the rest of the animals, rode the ponies and train each two times, fed the giraffes a LOT of food, played in the play area, rode the carousel and just overall loved hanging out at a fun place with fun people!!

I can't wait to see them again soon... spring break!!:)

Pete the Cat

C's favorite books these days are the Pete the Cat books so when I saw that the library was doing a special Pete the Cat story/craft time, I signed the kids up!

It was so well done!  The kids heard two new Pete the Cat books, played a cake-walk-inspired game based on the I Love My White Shoes book, a craft making Pete's Magic Sunglasses and a snack inspired by Pete's Four Groovy Buttons!

Oh the kids did love their time having fun with Pete the Cat!!
