enjoys the planning and prep process to lead worship

Since she quit dancing, S has been taking a theater class! 
I think she really likes it!  Fun fact, the girl that she is with in this
picture, they were in the 2 year old class at Moms Morning Out but
definitely do not remember each other!

Greenville Triumph vs. Clemson Soccer Game

The Greenville Triumph started their season off with a scrimmage against Clemson's national championship team!  Both of the kids invited a friend and we made a day of it!  The game was great and believe it or not Clemson beat the professional team 2-0!  Go Tigers!  Afterwards, we stopped in downtown Greenville for dinner at Mellow Mushroom and walked around while we waited for our table to be ready!  M met us at Mellow Mushroom(he'd been up at the lake all day) and we experienced the fastest meal we've ever had there - they are notoriously slow!

Hiking Raven Cliff Falls

The kids had today off of school for Presidents' Day and it was beautiful this morning!  We went to Caesars Head State Park and hiked about 4.5 miles!  It's a fairly easy hike that ends with a great view of the falls!  On the way home we made a quick stop at Bald Rock which the kids had not been to in a few years but still remembered!

Many-a-rocks were thrown today! LOL!

Spare Time

The kids had today off of school so we took advantage after I put a couple hours in at work to get them so new shoes that they both desperately needed and then use gift cards they'd gotten from school at Spare Time.  We ended up finding some other cards that we had money and tickets on in my wallet and ran into some other friends from school so we spent quite a bit of time there this afternoon!

Snow Tubing

We took the kids and their friends snow tubing today!  It was 70* and beautiful weather - I think I prefer it to be warm when I'm in the snow;)  The kids were completely self-sufficient, so M and I had what almost felt like a date day.  We went up and down that mountain no telling how many times!  We will sleep well tonight!

Soccer Tournament - Charlotte

C participated in his first soccer tournament of the season and his first stay-and-play tournament ever(he missed the fall one thanks to having COVID)!  It was such a fun weekend!  Their record for the tournament was 1-1-1.  He played a new position for most of the weekend and did a great job!  Between games on Saturday, we managed to meet up with my cousin Chad and my friend from high school, Lee, and his family!  It was sooo good to see all of them and I can not think of a better way to spend a couple of hours!  A great weekend for all of us:)
