First Soccer League Game

C had his first league game tonight and it just happened to be against a team that had a couple of kids from his team last year on it as well as a kid from summer swim team!  That made it even more fun - and we won:)

First Football Games

We all had our first high school football games(well, other than when M and I were in high school!) tonight!  

S went with some friends to JL Mann for an away game!

Soccer Tournament - Charlotte

C had his first soccer tournament playing in the travel league as an 11v11 team!  We got to know the parents and the kids a lot better over the weekend and what a great group!  The boys went 2-1, and lost to a team that definitely should have been in a different bracket!  They played great and had a ball together!

S was not going with us(she stayed with a friend!) and we just
 don't sleep as well in a hotel!

C's First Day of School

 C had his first day of school!  Go Sabres!!

Open House - C

Both kids are starting new schools this year!  

C had his open house this morning and we got a chance to meet his teachers, find his locker and had him run walk through his schedule a couple of times so that he doesn't get lost on his first day!

S had her open house this evening.  She also found out her schedule and I made her walk through it so she didn't get lost her first day...LOL!!

Sanibel Island 2022

We've spent the past week relaxing on beautiful Sanibel Island!  

We ended up not leaving until about 5pm last Saturday due to C's soccer camp.  We stopped in Macon, GA on our way and finally arrived Sunday and headed straight to the grocery and then the beach!

All week we spent our mornings on the beach, it would rain each afternoon and then we'd go out to eat and sometimes, weather permitting, would head back down to the beach after dinner!

We rode bikes, explored the island, and just generally did a lot of nothing and it was fabulous!!!!

We drove back the entire way today! It took over 12 hours but we finally pulled into the driveway!

A great week away!  But, always glad to be home sweet home!

The bottom dropped out as soon as we left soccer and this
is how we started our trip to Macon!
