March... In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb?

She's working on drawing a picture for her school's art
contest!

Shopping Day #1

C had a bday party at Frankie's Fun Park - TWO days before
the dreaded, awful stomach bug!!

She decided to dress up 80s style and nailed it!

And the stomach bug hit!  I blame Frankie's!

NO words!:)

Gotta love a good trip to the vet!

Lots of March Madness going on at our house - it's my first
year doing a bracket and I'm slightly obsessed(and REALLY
BAD with picking brackets!!)!

M and C went to the Bassmaster Classic - apparently C made it
his mission to sit in each boat!

Twinsies for church!

I let them each choose a recipe to cook for dinner - S chose
sausage dip and C chose crepes!  Both were delicious and the
kids were very proud of themselves!

C and I went through his shirts! LOL!!  These are the ones
we got rid of!

Shopping Day #2 - this time both kids were with me and we
got Easter outfits and family picture outfits knocked out!  Woohoo!!
Art on the back porch!

S teaching C some dance moves;)

A local church had an exhibit, Tabernacle Experience, that
walked you through the Tabernacle and explained things
in the Bible that really brought it to life!  It was so well
done!!  But freezing!!!!

First night dining outside!  Yay!!

We went to a local feed and seed and they had bunnies!  Oh so
CUTE and SOFT!!!

Egg Drop

We went to an egg hunt that was an egg drop in Greer today!  It was SO CROWDED and the lines to everything were really long!  Luckily we arrived early and were able to enjoy some of the games before the lines got too long to bear! Then it was time for the dropping of the eggs - which I thought was fantastic!!  The kids were let loose to gather eggs, and there were so many people there that neither of my kids got even one egg!  It was just too crowded and too crazy!  I'm glad we went and saw the helicopter drop the eggs, but we won't be going back again!

Waiting to get in...

Ran into Tessa... who now lives in Michigan but was
visiting for Spring Break!

One of the leaders from our church was there and talked
C into doing a sack race!:)

These two joined in too!

Never too old for bubbles!

Waiting for the helicopter to come!

And this wasn't even all of them... maybe 40%!

Roper Mountain Field Trip

I've said this no less than 1,000 times, but I LOVE our Roper Mountain Science Center!!  I went on a field trip with S's 4th grade class today.

We started out on the "farm" where we had a lesson on the Revolutionary War complete with a reenactment of the Battle of Cowpens(led by Ms. Dana, our Fridays on the Farm preschool teacher!), visited a school room when the students were taught and S got the naughty hat put on her and then we finished our farm activities with Anne teaching them how to be spies during the American Revolution and feeding some animals!

We ate a quick lunch and then went to the top of the mountain where the kids learned about light by doing a "kidnapping investigation"!  So much fun!

I LOVE this place!!!

Egg Dying

This afternoon we did a little egg dying!  This year was super easy with the kids, and they were very self sufficient and did a great job with the eggs(and with not making a mess!). They were happy with the outcome, so it was a win all the way around:)

Soccer Game

C's soccer team this year is very young and honestly not that great!  C is probably one of the strongest players on the team and this morning he played his little heart out!  He's come a long way in the past two years, no doubt about it!!

LOL!!

Family Mountain Biking

We have found a great local park that has an easy mountain biking loop complete with jumps and banked curves!  We all are able to do it and enjoy it!!!
