Riverbanks Zoo

This morning, the kids and I headed to Columbia to visit the zoo with our friends that was miss so much!  Amy and Callie were able to come but Cayden got sick and wasn't able to make it - I guess that is a good excuse to go back down again soon:)

Callie and S were adorable as they walked around holding hands!  In between bathroom stops with C-man(on day 4 of potty training - no accidents all day!!) Amy and I were able to catch up and chat.  The weather was amazing with an overcast sky for most of the morning!  It was such a wonderful morning!!

Amy was so sweet and generous and used her guest pass to get us into the zoo which included unlimited pony rides, carousel rides, food to feed the giraffes and train rides.  I mean, wow!!  How cool is that!  The kids were beside themselves doing everything as much as they wanted all morning!  This was the first time they'd even been able to ride the ponies and train - they have now been spoiled!

I loved our time with our friends and can't wait to see them again, hopefully soon!!

A Fun Summer Morning

This morning we had to be out early to take Abby for her annual shave and bath! The kids totally enjoyed PetSmart reading and looking at the fish:) While we were out we got breakfast(since we had had to rush out before eating!), had the car washed(which C was not so much thrilled about but we survived thanks to S holding his hand) and made a quick stop at the bank before coming home.

Once home we had a couple of hours before C's speech so we played outside!  Nothing like riding bikes and having a super fast, shaving cream slide in the summer!!

American Girl Lunch

Last time we were in Atlanta, Gigi and I took S to the American Girl store. At this point she had no idea what an American Girl doll even was but was introduced to them and has been wanting one ever since!

I made reservations for the three of us to have lunch this afternoon and S brought along her pseudo-American Girl doll.  While we were there Gigi was very good to S!!!  S is now the proud owner of a real American Girl doll, Charis!  After Charis had lunch with us, she had reservations to get her hair done:)  We rode the carousel until it was Charis's turn!  Boy did she look so pretty when she was all done!  S is one very happy, over the moon little girl!!!

She was royally spoiled today by her Gigi and loved every minute of it!!
