They did such an amazing job!! S was the first one on stage(other than those two men sitting behind her waiting for the story telling portion of the program) and was all by herself. Man, I would have been so nervous, but she loved it! She loves having a microphone in her hand and being at the center of attention! She recited Psalm 119:105 "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." She then joined her class as the did the procession up onto stage with lit "candles" in their hands singing the song that goes along with the verse.
The kids also sang "Bible Book Bop", "Jesus Loves Me, Me, Me" and "Stories of the Bible". We watched a video/slide show of their year at Brushy Creek Baptist Church(*tear) and each child received a diploma.
Afterwards, there was a reception for all the families! We have loved everything about our year - our teachers, friends, and the curriculum!!!

Wow, good job with the verse, S! Wonder if that's why your dad thought she had a solo in the dance recital? Ha!
