The last time she had this done, she was 3.5 and we thought she was old for tubes that time. I never thought we'd have to get yet another set!
Our kids have had FOUR surgeries in the last two years! That seems so absolutely ridiculous to me, but nevertheless that's what it is.
This time S kinda knew what was coming and when we walked back into the pre-op area, she looked at me and said "I don't want to be here." Poor baby! She was all smiles up until this point! But, she was okay after a few minutes and soon was done and could hear! When we were in the car on the way home she was ecstatic that she could hear the train in the distance and the rain on the windshield! What a relief!!
