Christmas Fun

A couple of weeks ago we wrote letters to Santa with the kids' wish lists.  Well, today we received letters back from Santa!!!!!  Straight from the North Pole(although it is postmarked for a future date - ha!) and signed by the big jolly fella himself!:)  Such a neat experience!  Although, Santa did request milk and cookies in one of the letters so I guess we don't have a choice but to leave some out for him:)  Fun!!

We went over to Darcy and Grady's house today and had a Christmas play date!  Since Amanda works, we try to get together over any school break since she is able to take off when school is out!  Today the kids and I bombarded her house and made glittery gingerbread play doh.  The kids enjoyed it, but I think Amanda and I could have played with it all afternoon:)

This afternoon, we hosted the 3rd annual Gingerbread House Play Date!  I had originally planned to have this yesterday, but with the tubes we had to reschedule for this afternoon.  It worked out just fine and the kids had a fun time decorating their houses.  C really was into his decorating much more than I thought he would be and hung with the girls like a champ:)  The finished products of all of the kids were true original masterpieces!
