Christmas at the Stables

Whispering Pines, a Christian-based horse farm in Mauldin, hosts Christmas at the Stables each year. This is a free event to the community and they share with all the guests the true meaning of Christmas by telling the story of Jesus' birth while acting it out through a live nativity. There were Mary and Joseph, Baby Jesus, angels, wise men on a camel(a horse with a homemade hump which made me laugh so hard - poor horse!), goats and sheep. The kids were able to pet all of the animals and go up to the manger to see Jesus. We finished the night with a tractor hay ride around the farm:)

It was a great way to reinforce the reason why we celebrate at Christmas time!!
