Langston Family Reunion

Today was our annual family reunion the the Low State!

We drove down(2.5 hours), visited(4.5 hours) and drove home(2.5 hours plus we stopped for dinner and got groceries!). To say it was a long day is an understatement - but it was a great time had by all and wasn't nearly as trying as I thought it would be!!

The kids were amazing! They played, and ate, and played some more without once whining or complaining!:) While we were there we went fishing! S lasted about 3 minutes and was bored with it and off to more entertaining things:) C hung in there and was more interested in dipping the end of his pole into the pond...until he dropped his pole and it sunk to the bottom and Daddy and Elliott had to fish it out! We didn't catch anything, but gave it a good effort!

After some swinging and more chatting, we had Richard call in the cows! Always a hit with the kids to see that many cows mooing and trekking in for food!!! Then, William surprised us with a drive the the coyote pen where we drove around and saw about 40-50 coyotes and they followed us as they thought we were the feed truck! Amazing! We all got a kick out of this but I think the kids liked riding in William's truck more than anything:)

When we had had all the fun we could have, and before the kids started getting too anxious, we left on a good note, saying our "good-byes" and getting on the road! C-man slept a good portion of the way home while S played on her LeapPad and watched movies giving Mommy and Daddy a quiet ride back to Greer!!:)
