Mice on Main

This is something I've been wanting to do with the kids for a while, but have just never gotten around to it! It was a great day to do it, and Amanda had the book with the story of the mice, so it worked out perfect! She read the book to the kids, we followed the clues, and found all nine mice up and down Main St. in downtown Greenville. We were quite proud of ourselves for finding all of them, even dispite all the construction going on around us:) When our family did the same type thing, but it was Toads on Trade in downtown Greer, we were not able to find all of them. We'll have to try again maybe for the toads! Anyway, the girls loved finding the mice and would squeal in delight when they did. It was cute! Poor C, I wouldn't let him out of the stroller until after we were done walking around - I'm just not that brave/crazy!

After our success, we celebrated(well, even if we didn't find them all we still would have celebrated!) with a trip to ChocoMoose! The kids had cake pops and then played around the bakery and did a pretty good job of entertaining themselves while Amanda and I had an adult conversation.

Perfect activity for a warm, sunny morning!
