Easter

Today we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord! Thank you Jesus for loving us and being the ultimate sacrifice!! I have really tried to focus on the true meaning of Easter this year and although we've done a lot of egg hunts and bunny stuff, each day I have been intentional to bring Jesus into our celebration through a 10 Days of Easter countdown that S had a blast with and asked about first thing each morning when she woke up.

Here are a few of the crafts/ideas we've done for Easter this year:

We have enjoyed our egg hunts and have been even hiding them around the house for the last 1.5-2 weeks! I'll honestly be glad to put these little plastic eggs away so that I don't have to constantly clean them up! I'll still probably be finding them around the house until Christmas!!

Today we spent our time at church, egg hunting with the neighbors and enjoying dinner with friends! The Easter bunny didn't make it to our house last night, but Mommy and Daddy did have a few gifts for each of the kids. Today was also S's 1/2 birthday, so we celebrated with cupcakes and singing "Happy Birthday"(upon her request) and she loved it:)
