Butterfly Adventures

This summer Roper Mountain Science Center is hosting a Butterfly Adventure!  This includes hundreds of butterflies all around and also the rest of the science center open as well!  They have expanded sooo much since the last time I was there!

Our neighbor from our old house works at RMSC and is butterfly extraordinaire, so of course we ran into her while we were there and she gave us special treatment:)  We also ran into a friend from S's dance class and a good family friend from school/swim team!

I think S's favorite part was the butterfly exhibit and C's favorite was the touch tank in the marine lab!  We also visited the farm where S was enamored by the baby sheep - that may have been another favorite of hers!  We ran into Ms. Dana that use to teach Fridays on the Farm which S participated in when she was in preschool.  She remembered us!!  I was so impressed!  It was so fun to see so many familiar faces there:)

The kids had an absolute ball and we even ended up joining as members again which we have not done in a few years!  Hopefully we will get a chance to go back again before Butterfly Adventures is over for the summer!  But, now that we are members again, it looks like the kids will be participating in camps here next summer!

The sound wall - soooo loud!!

The kids with Anne:)  We love her!

C's favorite animal there!

S stayed next to these baby sheep the entire time while C
and I toured around the farm!  She just sat there with them!
LOL!!

Anne was Darcy's teacher at butterfly camp last week! Had no idea she was your old neighbor. She did know her stuff!
