Keeping Busy

The last week has been trying for sure!  A HUGE storm came through last Saturday night and our house leaked!  We had planned to move on Monday, however, with the damage that was done to our NEW floors, walls and ceiling, we have had to push it back another couple of weeks until we can get it fixed!  Very depressing, and very sad!  BUT, we have put it into perspective and know that so many people would gladly change problems with us, and we are focused on just getting it fixed right now!

In the meantime, we are in a constant state of flux, not really know when we are moving, packing but trying not to pack too much... 

M and I have both been meeting contractors over at the house all throughout the day every day(I'm lucky enough to have to drag two tired kids along with me!).  I think it is safe to say that we are all beyond ready to be done with building!

The good news is that other than the water damaged area(foyer), the rest of the house is pretty much finished!!  Just a few minor things and it's done!

We celebrated M's 34th birthday with homemade cards and
homemade red velvet cake!

M and C playing Bingo.  This is the first game he has really taken
any interest in but I think it has more to do with being able to spin
the cage than actually playing the game!  He'll tell you that he doesn't
really want to win;)
