I cannot believe how much S has improved in just one short season! She is much more aggressive than she was at the beginning of the season and her shooting and dribbling skills have come a long way! She had many friends from church on her team this year and made lots more friends as well and, I won't lie, she loved the social aspect of playing as well!
Last fall, S played on the 4/5 year old team. This season she played on the 6/7 year old team and it is amazing the difference in the two age groups! It was so exciting to watch the games! The girls totally knew what they were doing and the ball was moved quickly up and down the field! I totally love being a soccer mom:)
Since this was their last game, Coach Tim did a trophy presentation at the end! He is very kind and sweet to each girl and says something positive about each one of them as he presents their trophies to them! S was happy to put this trophy up next the one that she received last year!
She is already talking about playing in the fall, and I'm pretty confidant that Coach Tim will be her coach for a 3rd season!
