This year, Santa was extra busy on the night of the party, so for the first year, he did not make an appearance bringing gifts for the kiddos. Instead, our class sponsored a local family and we brought gifts for those kids instead! It worked out great! All the kids cared about was running around like crazies and they were happy as could be! We sang happy birthday to Jesus and ate cake and visited with our friends!
Side note: When we told C that we were going to be singing happy birthday and having cake for Jesus' birthday, he was expecting Jesus to be there, in body, to blow out the candles. He was very excited to see Jesus! It was very sweet, but a hard concept to explain to a 3-year-old!!
