Gingerbread Man

This has been the year of gingerbread!

The other day we went to a friend's and decorated houses(see other post).

Last week we went to the library where they hosted a wonderful gingerbread event!  They had cute gingerbread crafts to color, a scavenger hunt of gingerbread men throughout the childrens' section of the library, had a participatory gingerbread story and then decorated gingerbread cookies!  It was amazing(did I mention free!?!?)!

C was super-excited to get up and be the "woman" from the story!

S was a bit more hesitant to participate, but once C was up there, you
better believe she wasn't going to let him be the star and not her:)

C "decorating" his cookie!  HAHA!

He also, obviously, ate it!:)

S's masterpiece!  She took a painstakingly long time to perfect hers,
but it looked very good when she was finished!

And she was very proud!
This afternoon, we had our annual gingerbread play date.  In the past we have always done houses, but this time opted for cookies instead and I am very glad that we did!  It was much more manageable and the kids were able to more easily do it without any help from the Mommies!

Check out how much time she put into making them
perfect!

Her idea to wear the antlers!  She really likes them!!

Can you guess who's plate this is??  If you said C, you
are correct!:)

The best part - eating them:)

This wraps up our gingerbread month!
