Breakfast with Santa, The Nutcracker and Christmas Parade

I'm not sure we could have squeezed one more thing into our day today!!

We started our  morning at our 3rd annual Christmas breakfast with Santa!  It did not disappoint!!!  We ate, did crafts, saw Santa and had a great morning!  It really started to feel like Christmas!

This afternoon, S and I went to see her dance studio's performance of The Nutcracker at the Peace Center.  We met up with a couple of friends from her class and loved watching it!  The girls enjoyed the show while eating snacks and occasionally giggling throughout the show and pointing out their friends from class in the performance!  I think maybe next year if S wants to, we'll let her be a part of the Nutcracker!:)

After the show, since we were already downtown, we called M and C to meet us down there for the Poinsettia Parade.  We had a little while in between the show and the parade, so while we waited, S and I wandered around the Festival of Trees set up in the Courtyard Marriott where she wanted her picture taken with every tree - that's my girl!!  We then went across the street and got dinner to go at Bellacino's and it took us F.O.R.E.V.E.R. to get our food!  We stood there for an hour waiting!  I will not go back there again, but was very grateful to have our food and meet M and C outside for a picnic before the parade started!  Perfect timing and we were ready for the parade!  It was cold - and the kids were not exactly dressed for the conditions - but we all loved the parade!  I think C liked it the most and then it was a three way tie between the rest of us!

Merry Christmas!
