Disney Day 3 - Epcot

Today was the day of the princess breakfast!!

We arrived early as we've been doing all week at 8:15am but were allowed into the park early since we had reservations - even though the reservations were not until 9:30am. I'll take it!!!

First, we got a fast pass for Soarin' and then went on Living with the Land boat ride(which was way better than we thought it would be!) and did the Journey into Imagination with Figment. The kids enjoyed having the park pretty much to themselves for an hour before we went to breakfast!

Our breakfast was at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway. We did not have a dining plan since we were staying off property, but this is one meal I really wanted to do so I made reservations 6 months in advance:) We were greeted by Belle when we first arrived and then as we had a delicious, buffet breakfast with more than we could ever imagine eating Aurora, Ariel and Snow White visited our table and talked to the kids, took pictures and signed autographs! It was a great way to see lots of princesses and we didn't have to wait in line! About half way through breakfast there was a procession of princesses and princes and all the kids got to get in a line and parade around the restaurant! It was so cute and a great breakfast experience!!!

After breakfast I changed S's clothes since she had dressed up to meet all the princesses and we were off to use our fast passes for Soarin'! C was not big enough to ride, so we did a rider swap and first S rode with me and then she got to ride again with M. We took advantage of the rider swap several times on our trip and S totally reaped the benefits!:) Lucky kid! Soarin' was way up there on all of our lists of favorites! It was sooo much fun! While M and S went on it together, I took C back to Living with the Land boat ride and he enjoyed it just as much the second time as he did the first, especially when there were videos of tractors plowing the fields!

After we finished all the swapping with Soarin' we went to ride The Seas with Nemo and Friends and then went and saw Turtle talk with Crush! He was hysterical!! C was a bit tired by this point and started acting out so I had to leave with him and go sit outside, but the part I saw was great and I wish I had been able to see the whole thing.

M wanted to see the countries around Epcot so we started our walk and stopped in Great Britain to have lunch! S was loving seeing all the bush sculptures that were done all around the park.  We also met and got pictures and autographs with Mary Poppins and Mulan as we did our country tour.  The kids got a little bored on this part of our trip, but it didn't take too long!  We stopped in Norway and rode Maelstrom before we finished our country tour.

Before we went home, M wanted to go up in the "big ball" so him and C rode Spaceship Earth to the top while S and I went and saw Mickey, Pluto and Minnie!

We had not planned to spend our entire day at Epcot, but it was about 4pm before we finished so we just called it an early day and went back to the condo to eat dinner and rest up for a long day at Magic Kingdom tomorrow!!
