Disney Day 1 - Part 1 Hollywood Studios

We started out our trip at Hollywood Studios in hopes that since it is still technically spring break and is also the weekend, that most people would be spending their time at Magic Kingdom!

We arrived at the park at 8:15am and asked if we could have a map and the Times to look at while we waited so that we could get a game plan ready for what we wanted to do!

Then, we were pleasantly surprised when they opened the gates a bit early!!  We went straight for Toy Story Mania and got fast passes to come back later, but also then got on the ride right then as well so that we would be able to ride it twice:) I'm glad we did because it was our favorite ride there and ranks pretty high on our favorite rides all week!  After we rode it once we went and let the kids play at Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground which I remember doing when I was younger as well!  Then, we waited in a rather long line to see Woody and Buzz(glad we did, though, because we didn't see Buzz again then rest of the trip).  When we finally got through that line, it was time to use our fast pass and ride Toy Story Mania again.  As we were walking past all the people standing in the regular line, S says "Fast passes are the best thing ever!" and I couldn't agree more:)

After that we went and saw Disney Jr. Live show as this was the only opportunity the kids would have a chance to see their favorites: Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins.  It was a puppet show type thing and was really cute.  The kids ate it up!

Then, it was off to watch the Beauty and the Beast show and while we waited for it to start we ate the lunch we brought with us.  The show was similar to a Broadway show and was very well done!!

We made our way back to the center of the park and got a meet Minnie, Daisy and Donald before catching a bus to Animal Kingdom where we would spend the rest of our day!
