Both kids are doing the big swim team this year(instead of Guppies) and tonight was their first practice! Instead of jumping right in, though, the coaches had fun get-to-know-you games and relay races for the kids - not in the water which was good since it was somewhat of a chilly day! We have a new head coach this year, a guy, which may work out great for a crazy boy of mine. The 2 assistants were the same as last year so there will likely be continuity from the way things have been run in the past:)
On the way to practice, I treated the kids to their first Dillard's Ice Cream of the season - I knew it was going to be a late dinner and they needed something on their bellies to get them through the practice!
