C had his first awards ceremony at MVE this morning! He was super-excited as he'd been to several of these before to watch S get her awards - he didn't even fight me about wearing nice clothes:) He was all smiles when he came into the cafeteria and I was glad to get a picture of the pure joy on his face.
He got awards for:
- K5 Certificate
- PE - Soccer Award
- Computer Award from the computer lab teacher
I'm proud of my little guy! Even though the year has been far from perfect for him, he has grown so so much academically, socially and even behaviorally! It has been a learning experience for everyone but he is walking away with lots of good friends and a great academic foundation!
Here he comes 1st grade, look out!!!:)
