Day 2: Magic Kingdom

Today we started the day bright and early because we had breakfast reservations at Be Our Guest Restaurant at 8:25.  We arrived at the parking lot only to find the monorail to the Magic Kingdom was down so we had to take the ferry.  This actually ended up being really cool!  We'd never arrived by boat before and it was a beautiful morning to enjoy it!

After we arrived at Magic Kingdom, we were ushered right in before the gates opened and were able to take plenty of pictures before our reservation time.  We had never been to Be Our Guest before and were very impressed with it!  Such a pretty dining hall!  We ate our breakfast and enjoyed our time there before finishing and heading toward Mine Train.  I was hoping to get there before the park opened so we didn't have to wait in an insane line, but pictures and breakfast took longer than expected so people were already flooding into the park when we got out!  HOWEVER, if you have had breakfast at Be Our Guest, you just have to tell the cast members standing at the Mine Train entrance and you can go through the fast pass line!  So awesome!!  No wait at all:)

We then made our rounds through Fantasy Land hitting up Peter Pan, Small World, Winnie the Pooh, Enchanted Tales with Belle(where S was Phillipe the horse and C was Chip), Dumbo, Barnstormer and Under the Sea!  By this point we were ready for some lunch and some shade!!

After lunch we used our first fast pass to meet Cinderella and Rapunzel, although even with a fast pass the line was still very long!  We then road the carousel, used another fast pass for the speedway, Buzz Lightyear ride, met Buzz, People Mover, Astro Orbiter, M and I used a fast pass to switch going on Space Mountain while the kids watched the Dream Along with Mickey show at the castle.

We finished with everything later than we'd anticipated, so instead of having to cook dinner back at the condo, we ate al fresco at Tony's Town Tavern.  It ended up being a perfect way to end the day because all of the people were arriving for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party that night and they were dressed up in costume - great people watching!  We were also able to watch the Move It, Shake It Street Party and the flag retreat!  It was a very entertaining dinner!

Our last stop before leaving for the condo was to see Magician Mickey!  He is the only Mickey you can meet that talks and we didn't catch him last time we were in Disney World.  C thought it was great and, again, messed with him and was cracking us all up!

We enjoyed our first magical day at Magic Kingdom!

While M was on Space Mountain, we went to watch the
Dream Along with Mickey show and this guy
offered to take our picture and was laying down on the ground
so he could get a full shot of the castle!  It ended up pretty
cool!
