He was so super excited when he came downstairs this morning, escorted by S, and then S and I sang happy birthday to our favorite little boy! He has been waiting for a long time to turn five, and today was finally the day!
C is an adventurous, climbing, wiggly little guy with a love for his family that I hope he always keeps! He enjoys being outside(as long as it's not too hot!), playing with his friends and being generally mischievous! His speech has come a long way, and I feel like he has definitely matured over the past year both academically and socially! He likes to eat, is usually not in a rush to do anything or be anywhere, and is all around a rough and rowdy 5-year-old!
We started the day off going to the gym where he got to go to Kid Zone like all the big kids and he thought he was really something else!
After that, we headed to the Children's Museum to celebrate(thanks to the StayCation package I purchased last month!)! Both kids had a great time as they always do when we go! C's favorite part was the water area, while S continued her love for the grocery store they have there!
Then it was treat time at Cold Stone!! We met our gymnastics friends there and celebrated both C and Sara's birthday(she turned 8 today!) with ice cream of choice for all the kids!
Soon(but not soon enough, as C's energy had dipped down into the I'm-going-to-be-really-obnoxious-now stage!) we left to go to gymnastics where the kids were glad to be back in class and I was honestly glad to have 45 minutes of adult time!
