Oh, Christmas Tree!!

We finally got our tree today and decorated it!!!

Between Thanksgiving being late this year and having the Nutrcracker take up pretty much all of our time since we've gotten home from Raleigh, we made sure we went today after church!

It was fun to let the kids decide on the tree this year!  We rejected several that the worker pulled out for us due to bare spots(S loved to point out the bad places on the trees!!!) but finally found a nice, fat tree that both kids liked and M liked it because he was able to get the worker to come down on the price!  We all left happy!!!

When we got home, M and I got the tree set up and the lights strung and then let the kids decorate!  This is the first time in seven years that I have gotten my ornaments from when I was a kid out of the attic!  I took care to hang mine up high, and let the kids hang theirs on the lower branches(only one casualty to an ornament that luckily was not a special one!)!  They did like seeing all of my old ornaments and hearing the story behind each one!!  They did a great job decorating and were very proud of their tree when they finished!!

S's church class had dress up day so it worked out well for
her that she was wearing her cute Christmas outfit when we ran
into the big guy himself at the tree lot!

She wants to be a "party girl" in the Nutrcracker and dressed as one while she
was dancing to the Sugar Plum Ferry song in the snow globe she received
after her Nutrcracker performance last night!!

Proud kiddos of their very own Christmas tree!!
