Book Week

We had another book week this past week and again it was a hit!!! I tried to incorporate books with crafts/activities that C would enjoy as well! Some he did, some he didn't, but he participated in most everything which I will take as a huge improvement:) S of course ate it up!!

Day 1
The Great Monster Hunt by Norbert Landa
and
Boogie Monster by Josie Bissett
We made paper bag monster puppets

Day 2
Pete the Cat - I Love My White Shoes by Eric Litwin
We(C did not care to make this craft, so it was just me and S on this one) made a Pete the Cat and also listened to Mr. Eric on YouTube read the story and play the Pete the Cat song(we did this at least 6 times!)

Day 3
Cool Cars and Trucks by Sean Kenney
We made paint tracks with trucks and cars.

Day 4
Curious George Goes Camping by Margret and H.A. Rey
We set up the tent and the kids were going to eat a snack in it, but they were too rough and pretty much destroyed it before we got to the snack part.  But, we set it back up again and they haven't stopped playing in it since!

Day 5
Starting Life - Butterfly by Claire Llewellyn
We had a life cycle snack.
