Blueberry Festival

Today we went to Roper Mountain Science Center's inaugural Blueberry Festival. They had several local farmer present with samples of their blueberries and watermelons, sales of their crops and information about their farms. There were also crafts for the kids to do and all sorts of reenactments of the way life would have been on the farm. It was H.O.T. so after awhile we ventured inside to take a look around at the sea creatures, rain forest and other habitats (all stuff we've seen numerous times before but it still intrigues S to no end!). Little man hung in there and liked listening to the music and getting to sample some of the food as well! Yay for yet another great day at Roper Mountain!

Oh man! I hate that I forgot about this! Sounds so fun. And once again I'm so impressed with your activity planning skills!
