10 Months

Today my handsome little man is 10 months old!

This month he has really started to crawl on all 4s rather than "army crawl". Although, when he gets excited, he'll still slide back down to his elbows to go! Not long after he was crawling, he started pulling up on things. The couch is no longer a safe place to stash our shoes(which he loves to chew on!) or S's small toys! SCARY!! Haven't quite figured out what to do with those things now! This kid is into everything and I can't take my eyes off of him for a minute anymore!!

Also, C is eating a lot more finger foods now. He's had the pincher mechanics down with his fingers but he kept getting choked. FINALLY, we are able to feed him more table food! He's been feasting on chicken nuggets, mac & cheese, green beans, crackers, bananas, strawberries, bread and sweet potatoes to name a few. It's kinda hard to remember some of the softer foods we fed S so I don't have too many on hand. Gonna have to try to remember to stock up next time I'm at the grocery because this kid can seriously eat!

Sleeping has become a lot better lately(hopefully I didn't just jinx myself!). Not great, but definitely an improvement! He is sleeping from about 7:30pm-4/5am, gets a bottle, and then back to sleep until about 7am. He is napping twice (10:30am and 2/3pm) and the length really depends on whether or not he is having to catch the morning nap on the go or if he gets to take it in his crib.

He is eating a LOT, but hasn't necessarily been gaining a lot of weight. He has been sick quite a bit over the last month so this isn't too terribly surprising. Hopefully this coming month he'll be well and can put on some weight:) Here is what he typically eats in a day:
4/5am 6oz bottle
7:30am cereal and fruit
10am 4oz bottle
12:30pm fruit, veggie and finger foods
3pm 6oz bottle
5:30pm cereal, fruit, veggie and lots of finger food
7:30pm 2oz bottle

He looks so cute yet so ornery in this picture - like he's really about to get into something.

It just amazes me at how this child smiles in EVERY picture. He is the happiest little monkey I know!
