Easter Weekend

Our Easter Weekend was full of family and fun!

Saturday it was really windy and quite chilly!  But, that didn't stop us from putting the kids in dresses and short-sleeve shirts to go have breakfast with the Easter Bunny(sorry kids, it really is all about the pictures!)!  They loved it, though!  We have never done something like this before and both of them thought it was great!  They got to hang out with the bunny("that animal" as C refers to him.. ha!!), eat Chick-n-Minis, drink chocolate milk and play on the play area!  What could be better?!?!:)

After breakfast, we went to one last local egg hunt at BCBC where the kids use to go to school for a couple of years!  The kids were kinda cold, so we told them to go and jump, jump, jump to stay warm!  It worked!  S got off of the bounce house taking off her sweater:)  Funny girl!  After jumping, running into half of Greenville and a train ride, it was our turn to hunt eggs!  We all went home happy, fed and ready to get into some warmer clothes:)

Saturday night the Sudduths came over to cookout with us!  We love seeing them and watching the cousins have so much fun together!  They all get along so well, and are becoming really good friends!  After dinner and cupcakes, there were several rounds of egg hunts for the kiddos before calling it a night!

He is risen!!!

On Sunday morning the kids woke up to surprises from the Easter Bunny(this Easter Bunny is not very reliable so I'm very glad that there was something in their baskets!!)!  After quickly going through the goodies and a short photo shoot in the driveway, we arrived at church only 15 minutes late... ugh!!!

After church, we went to Elliott and Lara's house for lunch!  Again, I'm so glad the cousins are able to get together several times a year!  S loved playing with Baby Larsen and C hung out with Daven and Connor!  After a delicious lunch and lots of playing, the kids enjoyed several more rounds of egg hunting!

We left with full, happy bellies and two tired kids:)
