Fall Break - Triple Falls, Sky Top, Pump It Up, Friends and A LOT of Cleaning

Even though we weren't going anywhere for fall break, I still wanted to do some fun, different things with them!

First of all, we were lazy in the early mornings and didn't get going very quickly!  Bliss!!!

On Thursday, we ventured to Dupont State Park where we hiked our third and final waterfall trail!  I had done Hooker Falls with them a couple years ago, we did High Falls with Gigi a few months ago and we finished off the last one, Triple Falls, this weekend!  It was a short, fairly easy trail and the kids did a great job with it and have developed, somewhat, of an appreciation for the beauty of nature(especially in the fall!!)!

After our hike we had lunch at the base of the trail before loading back up and going across the mountain about 30 minutes to Sky Top Orchard.  This is our second time there this year so we opted to not actually pick apples, but to just buy them from the store!:)  Of course, we had doughnuts(which we stood in line about 40 minutes to get!), played on the playground and thanks to a nice lady who gave us all tickets, we went on a hay ride around the orchard!  It was a great ending to a fun day!

Friday, we went to Pump It Up to let the kids get some jumping in and some energy out!:)  We stayed for a quite a while before packing it up and heading home!  They had a blast, but were completely worn out when we left(success!!) and did not argue when I told them it was time to leave!

Saturday, C had a make up soccer game!  Now, being fall break and all, we only had 3 players show up to play and no coach!  So... the Bishop family took one for the team!  I coached(it was quite humorous I'm sure!) and S played as the fourth player!  Usually this age group plays 4v4, but we decided that it would be better if we played 3v3 so that everyone could at least have a little bit of rest during the game!  After the game, we met the Rhymers at Cleveland Park since they were in town and let the kids play while the grownups caught up!  It is always good to get to see them!!

The rest of Saturday and Sunday were spent getting the old house for sale(which it is, hallelujah!!) and cleaning up the new house some more(I can now get my car in the garage..woohoo!!)!

It was a great, fun, exciting, exhausting weekend!!
