Hot Start to September

It has been downright HOT this past week!!!

I had promised C we would go to the park during S's dance class,
but it was SO hot, we opted for the mall instead!  He had soccer
practice afterwards and we were all sweating buckets out there!  His
coach took pity on the kids and let them go about 10 minutes early!!
Just TOO HOT!!

They started out making cards - but C quickly turned to peeling
the brand new crayons I had just bought! GRRR!!!

We've spent hours and hours over at the new house getting it
ready for inspections!  This particular day we were kicked out of
the house because the floor guys were finishing the floors!  It was
a very hot afternoon with no A/C!!

Thankfully, we had brought the few boxes that I had packed -
which included the Play-Doh!:)

Party time!!  One of C's best friends had a HUGE
pinata!! 

New-to-us leotard for dance!!  She was super excited!!! 

And while S was at dance, C and I ran some errands but had
a while to still kill time before picking her up.  So, I stopped in a
pretty vacant parking lot, set up my camp chairs, got some
toys out of the car for C to play with and we just hung out!  He smashed
ants with his hammer...

... and chose to "sit" like this!  Crazy kid!!!
