This morning the kids had their pictures professionally done with Santa!!
I actually, for the first time, got them coordinating outfits for Christmas. They are not too matchy-matchy as they did not come as a set or anything, but they colors and gingham matched so I call that coordinating! They looked awfully cute decked out for Christmas!!
We had a different photographer that we've never used before take their pictures as our normal photographer does not do Santa/Christmas pictures. I was not sure how C would do with Santa since last year he was NOT a fan at all, but he did better than expected! S of course did awesome as she loves the camera and the spotlight and was great during the pictures!
They started out with just S and C together in a Christmas setting, then Santa snuck out from behind some props, and then Santa came and took some pictures with the kids. It was at the point that C was put on Santa's lap that things went downhill. He started crying so the photographer had him sit on my lap but made it look like he was sitting on Santa's lap - very cool!! I don't know if C ever smiled, but he didn't cry so I'll call that a success! By the end of our session, C was reading books with Santa, gave him high fives and even gave him a little kiss:)
We ended on a good note and hopefully the next time we see Santa C will not be scared to sit in his lap!!
