C is NINE - Waterpark Fun!

C is officially nine!!!  Whew!  This kid is affectionate, wild, loves to play, athletic, strong-willed, determined and knows how to try my patience!  Because we celebrated with family this past weekend and are planning to celebrate with friends in a couple of weeks, today the kids and I just did something fun together!  We went to Otter Creek Water Park!  We waited until the afternoon before going, hoping all of the camps would have left by then.  We drove there in pouring rain and were quite upset thinking our afternoon was going to be ruined - it did not rain one drop at the water park and all storms seemed to go right around us as we watched the sky and radar!  Whew!  When we arrived there was camp of over 200 kids there - it was packed!!  The kids played in the splash area and the pool before going to wait in line for a slide - I told them I would not go down a slide until the camp had left because the line was just too daunting!  The camp did leave not too long after we arrived and then we had the place to ourselves and shut down the park!  We could walk up the stairs with zero line and go straight to the slides!  It was great!  The kids were pretty much able to ride as many times as they wanted! A great way to celebrate nine!
