Dance Student Spotlight

S is the October student spotlight for her dance studio this month!  It's a pretty big deal and she was super excited to have been chosen!  Only about 4 younger kids(11 & under) and 4 older kids are chosen each year!  It is quite an honor for our Little Miss!

Student Spotlight for October 2017

For the month of October 2017, International Ballet Academy directors chose one student from the LOWER DIVISION of the academy (Pre-Ballet, Ballet I & II) to be featured in its Student Spotlight.  The IBA Career & College Guidance Program is pleased to announce that the student selected is Stella Bishop.

Stella has been dancing since she was three-years-old.  She took ballet, tap and jazz classes at the School of Carolina Ballet Theatre prior to enrolling  at IBA, where she has studied under Lena Forster and Liz Blackwood.  She has attended dance camps and summer classes and has also performed in The Nutcracker three times, twice with International Ballet as a Baby Mouse. Look for Stella in the 2017 production as Angel and Soldier.

Stella is a fourth grade student, maintaining straight As.  She participates in the Challenge program and is in the school's chorus.  Outside of school and dance, Stella enjoys art, playing the piano, performing with her church's choir and reading.  She is the daughter of Michael and Caroline Bishop of Greer.
