This afternoon, we celebrated our little, or not so little, princess's 10th birthday! WHAT!?!?! I can't dwell on that, not until she is at least officially 10!
So, her party was at a local art studio, CAT Studio, and she invited her girlfriends to come celebrate in a creative way! Luckily, one of her friends' brothers was able to come so C and Cayden had fun together too!
The girls painted a HUGE 'S' to be hung in S's room - everyone adding their own little touch to it. The men(M, Granddaddy and Grandpa) really got into the big 'S' and spent a lot of time finishing it after the girls had done their parts. How special!! The girls also painted their own canvases, whatever they wanted, after hearing a short art history lesson. This acted as their take home gift:) Everyone painted on the house for a while, the teacher read a book and then it was time for cake and presents!
The afternoon went by very quickly and I think everyone enjoyed themselves!

This was so funny! The little boys were hanging out outside,
then the girls wanted to come see what they were doing, then the
high school helper came out and just wanted to wrestle and
hang out with the little boys too! C has NEVER been
the subject of interest for S's friends! |
