Weekend in Atlanta

On Friday, the kids and I drove down to Atlanta for the weekend!  Once we were safely off the interstate and out of any chance of getting stuck in traffic, we made a much-needed ice cream stop at a place I'd seen on Facebook.  It's a Thai ice cream shop and they do rolled ice cream!  It was fun and yummy!!  As soon as we got to Grandpa and Gigi's house, the kids were ready to play and I was ready for a nap!  Both were accomplished:)  Afterwards, we met Uncle Bobby and Jennifer at hibachi for what has become a tradition when we go to visit!

Saturday was spent at the pool, party-prepping and grilling out with the whole family!

The kids had NEVER used a landline before and I can't
even begin to tell you how many hours were spent doing this!!

9 week old baby boy!  S got to feed him!  Her first time ever

The kids learned to play pool!

This morning, we visited Grandpa and Gigi's church(although it's nice because we have been there so many times that we are in the computer system now to print out the kids' tags!) and then got on the road back to home!  It was a shorter trip this time, but we still all wore each other out;)
