Roper Mountain Holiday Lights

After dance, the kids and I grabbed a quick dinner and then went over to see the Roper Mountain Lights!  I really enjoy going during the week and getting there just before the gates open so that we don't have to wait in any lines and can be home in time for a reasonable bedtime!  This year, we opted not to see Santa, but instead the kids roasted marshmallows!  I think this was more fun for them anyway!  There were FOUR marshmallows on each stick - sugar high!!!  After they'd had their fill, we went and found the over-sized cards that local schools had made and found Mountain View's.  We finished walking through the Winter Wonderland and then loaded back into the car to drive through the rest.  We went through 2 times, so that the kids could be on both sides of the car to get the best views of all the lights and then called it a night!  FUN!!
