And it was H.O.T.!!!!!!!
We rode the trolley(possibly the kids favorite part!) to the stadium and arrived just in time to see the players come out onto the field. I requested "shade" tickets thankfully or otherwise we would have been melting - but, come to think of it, we pretty much were even in the shade! So humid and NO wind! I got my tickets a bit late, so we had to sit two and two. The kids chose to sit in front of us:) This lasted a little while and then they were beside us in seats that belonged to some smart people who didn't come - I'm guessing because of the heat! We stayed about 4 innings and then walked back to the car. It was a nice night for a walk, and didn't feel nearly as stuffy as the stadium!
We enjoyed our baseball evening, but we were all ready to get cleaned-up and in the bed when we got home:)
