A Week of Camps

This week both of the kids had some camp experiences that they just loved!!

Monday - Friday, S attended a Fancy Nancy camp at Roper Mountain Science Center.  Each day was based off of a different Fancy Nancy book, most of which S had either read or that we had at home and she came home and read them each afternoon!  They looked at bugs and butterflies, had a spa day complete with manicure, pedicure and face masque!  They also were able to go to the planetarium on campus and see a show and taste astronaut ice cream.  Today they had their grand finale that ended with a tea party consisting of snacks and drinks made by the kids!!  We will definitely be doing a camp again at RMSC next year!  Very well done and S had an absolute ball!!

Running out to car line at the end of camp one day!

We got back early one day to pick S up and instead of
waiting in the car, C and I went exploring:)

Big hugs for Sissy at the Fancy Nancy Tea!

Tuesday, while S was at Fancy Nancy, C had his own camp at The Little Gym.
He was beside himself when they gave him a cape when he walked in!!

This afternoon, I signed both of them up for a tumble camp at our church.  I needed some kid-free time to pack and clean the house before leaving in the morning for the beach!!  I got back a few minutes early to pick them up and was able to snap a few pictures:)

S doing the bear walk down the mat!

C flipping over the mat!

C doing a hand stand:)

At the end of camp, each kid got a sucker and then in order
to keep them from grabbing the stickers, they had to put their
hands on their heads and the teacher selected one for each kid -
such a smart idea!!
Both the kids loved going to their camps this week and were so excited each day when they woke up!!  It was fun to watch them enjoying themselves so much and doing such fun, different things this week!
