Sunday was a day of NO POWER, sledding and snow ball fights! I will be honest, snow days aren't near as much fun without power, but we made the most of it! After about 13 hours, the power finally came back on just in time for warm showers and bed!
Monday the ground was super wet and slushy, and of course school was cancelled. Just thank goodness for power!! Some of our friends didn't have power still so they came over for a hot shower and warm lunch. They stayed and decorated gingerbread houses with us as well! Monday night I was brave and let S have Shelby Kate and Halle spend the night(much to C's chagrin!). Luckily, they let the rest of us sleep - but I don't think there was much sleep going on for them!
Tusday, no school - AGAIN!!! After Halle and Shelby Kate went home, I escaped to the gym but when we got back home the Kiniry boys came over and it was all out Nerf Wars and Light Saber Fights... so much for a relaxing afternoon of TV and naps! But, C had endured girls for a long time, so he was due some dude time! Then it was regular activities for the afternoon/evening for the kids - dance, baseball and basketball!
