The strawberry field near our house was hit really badly during the hail storm several weeks ago so they have been slow to get their berries coming in. BUT, alas, the berries are in and absolutely delicious!! We met some friends from school out at the fields this afternoon and the kids ate their weight in berries while the moms did most of the picking! What happened to my little helpers!?!?! They had fun, though, and I enjoyed catching up with some adult time, so it all worked out! And, two more gallons of berries at the house now!
