A Not So Terrible Parable

This spring we have been attending Wednesday nights at church so that the kids could perform in A Not So Terrible Parable.  They have worked really hard, and during auditions, both earned a special role in the performance.  S had a solo and C had a non-speaking part as a hotel guest.

Gigi and Grandpa arrived a bit early to spend some time with the kids.  We also gave them their Mother's Day and Birthday cards/gifts!  C was absolutely bonkers this afternoon and I was a little concerned with how he was going to handle being still and quiet on stage(I need not have worried, he was great!)!

It was finally time for the show and both kids were very excited about it - this is the first time they have both been in the choir so that was also a new excitement for them!  C was fantastic and did just as he was told coming into the "inn" and then paying as he left and getting right back up on stage as he was suppose to do!  Whew!!  S rocked her solo and sang beautifully!

I am so so so proud of both of them and are glad that they enjoy doing these types of things - because I sure to like watching them!

Solo!  Mad that I missed the beginning!

After all that sitting still on stage, he needed to
get some movements out of his system!
