Clemson Football Game

For the first time since we graduated, we finally made it back to Death Valley for a game!!!  We've been to some tailgates when the kids were younger, but not actually to a game!

Tonight, Clemson took on Duke in a night game.  We took C with us(S had Nutcracker rehearsal, plus it was kinda chilly and she doesn't love football that much anyway... so she was happy to stay with a sitter and have a girls' night!) and he loved it!

We had a good parking spot, which we decided was key, that acted as our home base!  We first went to Bowman Field since it was Military Appreciation Day and checked out the stuff there, then we met up with the Rhymers at their tailgate and the boys were crazy playing football, they then showed us where to go to watch Tiger Walk and high-five the players and then made our way back to our car where we had dinner and some chairs waiting for us!  We ran into C's teacher while we were eating and C made some friends playing football before we went into the game.

We had such a fun time at the game, showing C all the cheers and he really got into the spirit of it all!  I'm glad we had thick coats and blankets with us because it was quite cold on those metal bleachers!  We watched and cheered as the Tigers won 35-6!

After the game, we jumped the wall and went down onto the field to get some signatures on C's shirt!  He found K'Von Wallace and Alex Spence.  C thought this was great!!!  What a fun night!!

Go Tigers!!!
