Fall for Greenville

The kids and I went downtown for our traditional Friday night at Fall for Greenville.  We arrived about 30 minutes before they started and staked out what we were going to eat, played a few games and then finally they let us purchase our tickets.  It's always fun to walk around and eat good food and win stuff from vendors!  Both kids have tried foods I don't think they otherwise would have and they find out they like it!  After we had filled our bellies, we stopped and listened to a couple of bands before heading home around 7pm since it was starting to get ridiculously crowded at that point!

This year we tried:
Me - shrimp and grits from Larkins, Lamb/rice/veggies from a Cuban vendor that I can't remember the name of because I am writing this several weeks after we actually went!
S - crab cake from Soby's, smoothie from Port City Java and fudge from Kilwins
C - crab cake from Soby's, crab cake from City Range, smoothie from Port City Java and then we made a special stop at Marble Slab so he could get some ice cream

We spent about $35 so definitely not as cheap of dates as they use to be, but totally worth it!
